Can BBT interact with my specific hardware?
You can find a list of supported timing units here: Supported timing devices. If yours is not on the list, we would like to investigate if it would be possible to add it.

In addition to timing units, BBT can connect to a range of other hardware, such as digital clocks and video cameras. Contact us if in doubt.

Can you add a specific feature I need?
BBT is always evolving and you are more than welcome to send us your suggestions. We cannot promise you anything, but we will look at all incoming suggestions and evaluate them. Generally we will prioritize the features and changes that will benefit the most users.

Do I need to install all the updates?
The launcher program will tell you when a new update is ready. You can see what is new in this version by going into the 'Version info' menu of the launcher, and then decide if you want to upgrade now or wait. The updates are made for a reason, so you should generally keep updated, to have all the latest features and fixes. However, if you are just about to start timing an event, we recommend that you stay with what you tested at home, unless the update contains critical error fixes that could affect you. If you skip or postpone an update, you can always update at any time to the latest version.
